2. Thar Collection Kammara Earrings
3. Thar Collection Kawar Knecklace
4. Thar Collection Kokna Kecklace
5. Thar Collection Halba Ring
6. Thar Collection Parja Ring

I've been meaning to share this with you all last week, but now here it is. I discovered an amazing jewellery line called A Peace Treaty. A Peace Treaty is a collection of handmade ethically produced accessories, set up by Farah Malik and Dana Arbib. A Peace Treaty creates employment for skilled artisans working in places of socio-political problems. It's wonderful to see work produced in this ethical and positive way, not to mention the pieces are absolutely stunning! There are two ranges the Thar collection and the Sunari collection. It's hard to pick but I think my favourites are the Kawar Knecklace, Kokna Kecklace and the Parja Ring, hopefully one day I'll hope to own a piece or two for myself!

This weeks featured artist is Fredrik Rättzén, an Illustrator living in Kristiandsta Sweden. I love the sentimental tone and the subtle neons running through each piece. You can also find Fredrik Rättzén's work over on his tumblr ...

So I just found a post that I was meant to post MONTHS ago, but its was stuck in my drafts for some unknown reason! So I have decided to post it afresh today!

I was lucky enough to be a winner of the Sandra Dieckman giveaway. And I won this beautiful White Bison Print. I am absolutely in love with it! You can buy one of your very own over on etsy, her work is just stunning so go take a peep at the whole collection. And finally you can also follow her over on her Blog for more of this unique illustrator's work.

/ / VISUAL #1 / /

I hope you've all been filling your eyes up with my weekly Illustrator post. And here is another post with things to share with you all, I'll be posting one of these visual/design/inspiration posts every week too! I came across Kitka Design an amazing design website. They feature design, travel, interiors etc. They also have a Lifestyle Shop called Mjolk, stocking cute household things. There's so much to explore on the site and I was especially taken by their Travel Section. The photographs of Helsinki have made me really want to hop over the Finland; it looks just beautiful; I especially love the pastel neutral tones on the house exteriors. Cute!

So my weekly inspiration post has already skipped a week! I blame being an arty soul and therefore I'm entitled to be a little flighty!
This weeks post features the beautiful work of Dublin based Illustrator Denise Nestor.  I adore the subtle pencil work. The use of the hand puppets and layered illustrations provide really refreshing content. You can also see her work on her Blog and her Flickr. Enjoy!

Here's the second of my weekly spot of arty goodness... This is the wonderful work of Arian Behzadi I love the perfect collage placement and beautiful milky colour palette. Amazing work.

This is a post coming a little late as I was off camping in rainy Woolacombe with my pals this weekend...

I have good news, I finally got my degree results last week and I got a First!!!! I was definitely shocked, and super happy! Now to get into the real world of Illustration. Excitement! Above is another piece that was in my final university project. Uni was a definite must, but I am looking forward to being able to create without having to write down every thought and step along the process! haha!

If anyone out there needs an illustrator for a commissions, portrait or general arty-ness! I am your pencil wielding girl!
